Each year Daland Body Shop has a drawing / ART contest for the local schools. The winning contestants school receives a donation in the name of the contest winner, and the student recieves a $50.00 gift cert to Talbots toys. This years winner is Shelby Baxter, a fifth grader from Ponderossa Elementary School in South San Francisco. Shelby's artwork will be the face on Daland's thank you cards reaching over 1300 families this upcomming year.

Daland Body Shop, Inc. is proud to support the PAL, AYSO, local schools, San Mateo County Police Services, San Mateo County Fire Services, D.A.R.E. "Keep Kids Off Drugs" program, local churches, Peninsula Humane Society, The American Cancer Society, and many various other community supporting organizations.

Daland Body Shop is recognized by District IV of the California Parks and Recreation Department for offering a business partnership to support the children who attend the San Mateo County School Programs.

Daland Body Shop is recognized by San Mateo County for outstanding contributions to the community and awarded the "Volunteer Sponsor Award."

Daland Body Shop was awarded for their contributions to the March of Dimes in 2009.

July 11 2009 - Daland Body Shop holds the first of what's to be an Annual Car Show / open house. Benefiting the community "clean up" effort Daland held a charity event, free for local local community. Featuring Food from an on site BBQ, music, classic cars, race cars, choppers/bobbers, customs and much more, "the show was a great success" says Pera. 2010 hopes to bring more supporters, and interest from the bay area car enthusiasts.
